Deed to the Greenway

The Chrysler Canada Greenway is a 50 kilometre trail that connects four municipalities and twenty-five otherwise separate natural areas. Thanks to the generousity of hundreds of organizations and individuals, the Greenway has been developed into one of the region's premiere trail systems. What's more, because of the success of the original greenway, CN/CP has donated an additional 26 kilometres of abandoned rail line stretching from Amherstburg to the urban centre of Essex and intersecting with the Chrysler Canada Greenway.

You can purchase a commemorative metre of the Greenway for a donation of just $49. All funds raised stay in the community for trail maintenance and development. Donors receive an attractive deed and will be permanently recognized on the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion located in the Town of Tecumseh.
