Practice household water conservation - turn off the tap when you brush your teeth, use a low flow showerhead and consider shorter showers. Only run full loads in the dishwasher and washing machine.

Petite Côte

Petite Côte Conservation Area was created in 2007 alongside the Detroit River, south of LaSalle. An important marsh habitat, the Detroit River - A Canadian Heritage River, and Fighting Island - an International Wildlife Refuge, can be seen here.

Conservation Area Facts

  • The environmentally friendly boardwalk trail measures about 300 metres and is constructed from recycled plastics instead of traditional wood.

Open Dawn until Dusk. Open throughout the year. Free of charge.
