Drinking Water Source Protection Committee Releases Draft Proposed Terms of Reference!

The Public is invited to learn more and provide comments.

The Essex Region Source Protection Committee (SPC) has prepared a draft proposed Terms of Reference for the Essex Region Source Protection Plan process over the next few years. The public is invited to submit their feedback and comments.

"The Terms of Reference will guide the creation of local, science-based plans to protect the sources of our drinking water," explained Tom Fuerth, SPC Chair. "It outlines roles, responsibilities, timelines, costs and other aspects of what will done to develop the Source Protection Plan over the next few years."

The draft proposed Terms of Reference may be reviewed online at www.essexregionsourcewater.org or at the ERCA office. The public is invited to review the document and provide written comments until 4pm Monday June 30, 2008 addressed to Tom Fuerth, Chair , Essex Region SPC c/o ERCA or by email to chair@essexregionsourcewater.org.
