Accelerating the Pace Towards a Sustainable Community

The programs and priorities of the Essex Region Conservation Authority are guided by our Strategic Plan, which was most recently updated in 2011. This five year plan was first developed in consultation with the community in 1995, and updated every five years. It identifies the priorities programs to be implemented over the next five years in striving to achieve our community Vision 2020:

To achieve a sustainable environment with healthy watersheds, highlighted by clean creeks and rivers, and Great Lakes, thriving natural areas, productive agricultural lands, and vibrant places.

Towards Sustainability - Business Plan

A Business Plan is created annually, based on the five year priorities identified in the Strategic Plan. Towards Sustainability is the recurring theme, and the Business Plan outlines the projects and programs that will be implemented in the coming year.
